Kempton Park:

Kempton Park is a large region of Johannesburg, located just not very far from O. R. Tambo International Airport. This is the first place that flights to Johannesburg show their passengers. The area is home to nearly five renowned high schools of the city and sufficient accommodation facilities. Kempton Park is in close proximity to some of the city’s finest shopping malls and entertainment venues and it shares borders with industrial towns of Isando and Spartan. Hence it is one of the largest industrial centers of the African continent. The presence of South Africa’s main entry point, O. R. Tambo International Airport is said be the reason of the area’s high development. It is an excellent place for bird viewing but those who are very fond of birds and their species should visit the nearby Terenure Bird Farm. Just outside Kempton Park is the Swartspruit Recreational Area that houses a scenic dam. The site is popular for picnics and Braai (Bar B Queue).

Sandton:

This is indeed, one of the richest areas of the African continent. Sandton is home to Johannesburg Stock Exchange which is the largest stock exchange of Africa. It is known to be the heart of the city and functions as a major financial and economic hub. It is in Sandton that one finds one of the biggest convention centers of Africa, top investment banks, financial consultants, world class restaurants and landmark sky scrapers that symbolize the city of Johannesburg. It is known as the “Africa’s Richest Square Mile”.

Sandton Central is filled with Johannesburg’s most luxurious hotels, expensive shopping malls, art galleries and high end restaurants. It is one of the most posh areas of the city.

Other areas of the city include Rosebank that is home to the city’s finest architecture depicted in luxury hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, night clubs, offices, art galleries and other entertainment venues. Illovo is the perfect addressfor sport lovers as it has innumerable sports facilities in addition to some fine restaurants.
