This resort is situated near the scenic Vagator beach. The beach is a big draw with tourists and so is the resort. The place is a great haunt for party goers and people out to have a weekend of fun, but it’s not much of a place for those who are looking for some peace and quiet. The Nine Bar open from 6pm-10pm daily is a constant reminder of the theme of the place, which is to party all the time and have fun. After a while though, most will find it to be more a nuisance, as the jarringly loud music makes conversation of any kind a non-starter.
Coming to the rooms itself, one will find that they are all elegantly furnished with a great view in most cases. The bathrooms too are large and complete with a bath tub, perfect to soak in after a long wild night of partying! The penthouse too is worth the exorbitant price with a superb view of the Arabian Sea. The contemporary art on the walls appeal to the eyes and give the whole place a chic feel. In fact, the interior is fully dotted with such works of art and pleasing wallpapers.
While the rooms are top class, the room service could not be more different. It is sloppy in most cases and one should be prepared for a long wait to get a decent meal. The food selection isn’t too great or anything to speak about, especially when you consider the fact that some of the items on the menu are sometimes unavailable.
Overall, it is a good hangout if all you care about is partying all day and night and generally having a good time. If you long for some peace and quiet though, this is definitely not you cup of tea. It is better to look for other scenic resorts down the road.
